A city businessman has been charged with raping a woman in his office on Mama Ngina street in Nairobi .
Joel Omagwa Nyamao also faces another charge of committing an indecent act with an adult contrary to section 11(A) of the sexual offenses Act No.3 of 2006.
He however denied the charge before chief magistrate Daniel Ogembo and was released on a Sh2 million bond or a cash bail of Sh500,000.
The court also set August 18 as the date for the hearing of the rape case.
On June 6, 2016, it is alleged, at Monya Communications Ltd Salama house, Omagwa intentionally and unlawfully raped a woman without her consent.
The prosecution also said that on the same day and same place, the accused intentionally touched the woman’s private parts against her will.
