Alleged chief architect of the mega NYS scandal Josephine Kabura has been put in the most wanted list.
This is following her failure to show up in court again for the mention of a case where she and others are facing charges of money laundering.
Nairobi chief magistrate Daniel Ogembo issued the warrant of arrest against Kabura.
He further directed that all the accused persons in the matter appear in court next week on Tuesday.
CM Ogembo also ordered that a comprehensive medical report be produced for Charity Gethi, mother of businessman Ben Gethi.
It was said that she is ailing.
The 11 accused persons are expected to appear for the hearing of an application in which they are challenging the jurisdiction of the magistrate court to prosecute them.
The prosecution has opposed that application arguing that they are delaying the matter and should take plea in earnest.
“The accused must have their day in court. They are taking us round and round with similar applications. They must answer to the charges,” the prosecution said.
On June 29, 2016, High court judge George Onguto declined to stop their prosecution and directed that they argue their matter in the trial court.
Judge Onguto also ruled that the DPP has not violated the constitution in preferring money laundering charges.
The 11, among them Ben Gethi, his mother Charity, lawyer Patrick Ogolla, Josephine Kabura are expected to answer to charges of theft of Sh791 million youth money.
Kabura was spotted by Nairobi TIMES Friday evening around Milimani law courts.
