Rose Njambi Nyaga who pleaded not guilty to the charges forging a letter of allotment of a land valued at Sh 200 Million the property of Galot Industries.

A woman has been charged in court with forging a letter of allotment of a land valued at Sh 200 Million the property of Galot Industries.

Rose Njambi Nyaga appeared before Chief Magistrate Daniel Ogembo and denied seven counts of forgery contrary to the law.

The court heard that Njambi committed the offence jointly with others not before the court on June 23, 1996 at unknown place within the Country.

She was accused that with intended to defraud Galot Industries Limited a parcel of land valued at Sh 200milions, she forged an unreferenced letter of allotment for un surveyed residential plot B- Athi-river township in the name of Rochi investments purporting it to be genuine letter of allotment issued and signed at Arthi house Nairobi by Isaac Atandi Machuka for commissioner of lands.

She faced the second count of making a false document contrary to the law on July 1,199 at unknown place within the Country.

The court heard that Njambi, with intent to defraud Galot Industries Limited of a parcel of land valued at Sh 200 million, she forged a letter of allotment for un unserveyed residential plot in the name of Rose Nyaga.

She is accused of purporting the document to be a genuine one issued and signed at Ardhi house Nairobi by Isaac Atandi Machuka for the commissioner of lands, a fact she knew to be false.

She faced several other counts forgery and making false documents with intend to defraud Galot Industries Company.

The accused denied the charges and was released on Sh 1 million cash bail or a bond of Sh 2 million .The case will be heard on December 9, 2016.
