An advocate of the high court has been released on 300,000 shillings cash bail after he pleaded not guilty to stealing.
Lawyer Peter Kihara Mathanjuki is accused on diverse date between 3 August 2015 and 5 September August 2015, at pension towers in Nairobi jointly with others not before court stole Kshs 3,700,000 the property of Looyan Ahmed Maryan.
While releasing the accused on bail, chief magistrate Francis Andayi considered his lawyers application on grounds that he is an officer of the court and understands the courts directives.
The case will be heard on 10th of April.
