Four students from the Ngara based Jamhuri High school have been charged with assault causing bodily harm.

According to the prosecution the four were arrested this morning.

The court was also told that Moses Otieno Ouma alias Jatelo, Clinton luvayo Omuga, Brian Oswago and David Kyalo Nzomo before Milimani Chief magistrate Francis Adanyi.

Chief Magistrate was told the accused are over 18 years adding that they have their birth certificates and is not oppose their release on bond.

The students asked the the court to be lenient to them saying that that they are form four students at Jamuhuri High school.

The four pleaded not guilty to the two counts.

Accused persons parents were in court one said he has 2,000 shillings , another one said she can raise 5,000 shillings with the parent of the third accused persons saying that she has no money.

Nairobi chief magistrate Francis Andayi released the four students on Personal bond of 20,000 shillings each and directed the parents to sign a guarantee to ensure that the students appear in court for trial.
