CAR DEALER DENIES FRAUD CHARGES.

An alleged car dealer has been charged with obtaining over Sh1 million for a vehicle he failed to deliver.

Eusebio Sudi Aburili appeared before Milimani Chief Magistrate Martha Mutuku and pleaded not guilty.

The court heard that he obtained Sh1.13 million from Patricia Wanja Namu on diverse dates between June 5 and July 6, 2020 in Kilimani area in Nairobi County.

It is alleged that he obtained the money with intention to defraud by falsely pretending that he was in position to deliver to her a Porsche cayenne KBV 920W, a fact he knew was false.

The accused was released on a cash bail of Sh400,000 pending hearing and determination of the criminal case.
