A city businessman has been charged with kidnapping another trader over Sh 25 million car business deal.
Ali Dida Abakula appeared before Milimani Senior Resident Magistrate Jane Kamau and denied kidnapping Simon Waweru Njoroge.
Prosecution alleges that on February 13 this year along Kiambu road in Nairobi county, Abakula jointly with others not before court with intent to cause Simon Waweru Njoroge to secretly and wrongfully confined kidnapped the said Njoroge.
The accused was arrested on April 19,2021by the police after Investigations into the matter was concluded.
Preminary investigations into the matter reveal the the case involves Sh 25 million car business which were to be received within 90 days after payments.
Abakula was released on a bond of Sh 1 million or cash bail of Sh 500,000 pending hearing and determination of the criminal case.
