A former State House director and blogger Dennis Itumbi has a case to answer over accusations of publishing false document, a Nairobi court has ruled.
Milimani Chief magistrate Martha Mutuku ruled evidence produced so far by the prosecution warrants the placing of Itumbi and Samuel Gateri to be put on defence.
Itumbi and his co-accused have been charged with publishing a false document and reprogramming his mobile phone.
According to the charge sheet, the two, on or before June 20,2019, published a letter dated May 30, 2019 with intent to cause anxiety to the general public.
The matter will be mentioned tomorrow Thursday for purposes of fixing defense hearing dates.
