Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has threatened to sue activist Boniface Mwangi for defaming through social media posts.
Through lawyer Harrison Kinyanjui, Dr Mutua said the activist caused the publication of defamatory words on social media, which implied him as a negative person.
He said defamatory words were published through a video and were repeatedly disseminated and maintained online.
“You Alfred Mutua you are an abusive man, you are a molester, you physically abused and raped women you are a bad man,” read the publication.
Dr Mutua also said the activist and politician published information to the effect that he (Mutua) “blew up my house which I worked so hard to build”.
The activist contend that the governor can use the government to harass him but he will not be scared.
