A man has been charged with handling stolen property and stealing over Sh6 million from KCB and Credit Bank accounts belonging to Annabel Maule.
Kennedy Luseno Muhizi appeared before Milimani Chief Magistrate Wendy Kagendo and denied the charges.
Muhizi is accused that on diverse dates between May 27 and November 18,2019 at Kenya Commercial Bank Industrial area in Nairobi jointly with others not before court stole Sh2,768, 508 from KCB account belonging to Annabel Maule.
Prosecution told the court that on diverse dates between April 29, 2020 and August 16,2021 at Credit Bank ltd in Nairobi, otherwise in the cause of stealing Muhizi dishonestly received Sh.3,852,706 into his M-pesa account knowingly or having reason to believe to be stolen property.
He was released on a bond of 5 million or cash bail of 1 million.
