NYACHAE’S SUCCESSION CASE PUSHED TO LATER THIS MONTH.

The hearing of a succession case involving the estate of former minister Simeon Nyachae has been pushed to July 27.

Justice Eric Ogolla postponed the case even as parties said they were ready for the hearing of the applications.

Among the applications is a petition filed by a US-based woman Margaret Chweya, who has objected to being left out of the Sh2 billion estate.

Th Los Angles based woman says in her court documents that she was a wife of the late presidential candidate and had three children for him.

The woman and her children is being represented by lawyer Danstan Omari.

An emotional Rodney Chweya, one of her sons fondly talked of his father before the case was called out.

Speaking to journalists at Milimani Law Courts, Rodney said they were not fighting about the money but his father’s name.

He said he loved his step brother Charles and all the other siblings and it was unfortunate by the turn of events as had been.
