An unknown woman sent threatening messages to the late Sharon Otieno’s phone number telling her to leave her husband alone.
Ezekiel Ade, an investigator, told trial court that he found three mobile phones which upon investigation, belonged to the late Sharon, former Migori Governor Zachary Obado and third which he could not establish the owner.
Ade further told the court through a court that he found text messages exchanged amongst the three phones among which were threats.
One of the messages asked Sharon to leave her husband alone.
“Pliz leave my husband alone. I’ve gotten your number finally. I have to look for you and fight you to the bitter end. have to do for you the worst I can irrespective of the cost it’s going
to take. You will not walk away with it. Idiot, prostitute, gold digger,” stated the document.
He further stated that the threats kept on coming according to the text messages and at some point in the conversation, the unknown sender threatened Sharon that she will have to pay dearly and that the person had everything about her.
Ade, however, said that the phone number was untraceable and they couldn’t identify the sender.
He also told the court that he assumed that the sender was probably referring to Obado as the husband since the other conversation that seemed intimate and the only number that was saved as “honey” was Obado’s.
The court further heard that Sharon had tried reaching out to Obado over the pregnancy which he denied and asked Sharon to stop blackmailing him.
