TAIWANESE IN COURT OVER SH5 MILLION FAKE CASINO BUSINESS

A Taiwanese national has been charged with obtaining millions pretending he was in position to incorporate fellow businessman into Casino business in Nairobi.

Ku Ming Hung appeared before Milimani Principal Magistrate Gilbert Shikwe and denied the charges against him.

Ming is accused that on 8th August, 2023 at Nairobi Central Business District, with intent to defraud obtained Sh 5,000,000.

He obtained millions from Shao Da Lin Qiang by falsely pretending that he was in a position to incorporate Qiang into a casino business within the CBD.

The accused was released on a bond of Sh 2Million or an alternative cashbail of Sh 300,000.

The matter will be mentioned on 27th May.
