A businessman had been charged with obtaining Millions from the Director of Suresteps Systems and Solution Limited and Cloud Pesa Africa Limited.
Erick Wabwire Ilode appeared before Milimani Chief Magistrate Lukas Onyina and denied the charges against him.
Wabwire is charged that between 2nd February and 5th April this year at unknown place, jointly with others not before court, conspired with intent to defraud Sh11. 3 million from Jackson Mutuku Kiio.
The defrauded Mutuku is the Director of Suresteps Systems and Solution Ltd and Cloud Pesa Africa Ltd a sum of Sh 11. 3 million by falsely pretending that he was in position to sell him a Toyota land cruiser LX 570 and Subaru Forester and supply the said motor vehicles to Kiio.
He’s further charged with obtaining the same Sh 11.3Million in pretense to sell Kiio two motor vehicles namely Toyota land cruiser LX 570 and a Sabaru Forester, a fact he knew to be false.
Wabwire was released on a bond of Sh 1Million plus two contact persons.
