The manner in which he handled Covid-19 has returned to haunt former Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe after an activist challenged his nomination into President William Ruto’s cabinet.
Joseph Aura said in an affidavit that Kagwe is unsuitable to serve as the cabinet secretary for Agriculture and Kenyans should reject him.
Aura said the nominee is wholly unqualified to hold the cabinet secretary position to which he has been proposed based on spectrum of his activities and conduct while he was Health Cabinet Secretary between March 2020 and September 2022.
Aura has further requested to appear at the confirmation hearing through his lawyer in order to tender the evidence against Kagwe.
He added that upon taking over from the previous Cabinet Secretary for Health, Sicily Kariuki, Kagwe failed to note that the COVID-19 was classified by the World Bank as its Project (not a disease), engineered to achieve the geopolitical ends the controllers of the World Bank worldwide.
The activist claimed as the CS for Health, Kagwe consistently resorted to pay TV stations millions of shillings to peddle irrational fear of the Covid-19, even seeking to rebut allegations that Kenyans had made against his Health Ministry that there were no known “victims of Covid-19.
He said Kagwe could not justify how he conjured up “social distancing” or the “flatten the curve” mantra used to prolong irrational and unjustified lockdowns imposed by the government.
Aura says the former CS could not justify the irrational lockdown edicts as the WHO had outlawed the same as extreme, as reported by October 2020.
In a 671 page documents including affidavit and several reports by signed by chair of Health Department committee in the last Parliament Sabina Chege, Aura wants National Assembly to reject Kagwe’s nomination as the Agriculture CS.
Through lawyer Harrison Kinyanjui, Aura says Kagwe has been recommended to the cabinet by former President Uhuru Kenyatta following the secretive meeting between President Ruto and his predecessor.
“It is born out of political expediency, and not any objective suitability of the nominee. He ought to be so rejected in the public interest,” Aura state in the affidavit.
He further states that for the schooling of his children following the “irrational closure” of schools across Kenya in the 2020-2022 period, he was compelled to sue Kagwe in his capacity as the Minister for Health as well as the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Education, among others.
“In spite of my tabling incontrovertible evidence in Constitutional Court that Sweden had NOT locked down a single of its citizens, nor imposed any curfews or even closed schools during the entire span of the “COVID-19″ period, the subject nominee insisted on the enforcement of the irrational lockdowns and school closures,” state Aura.
He adds that clearly, there was no way a “Worldwide” “virus” christened “Covid-19” could have mysteriously escaped Sweden, avoided Sweden at all costs on all Sweden’s borders and mysteriously landed on Kenya while avoiding Tanzania whose Administration refused to be sucked into the Covid-19 World Bank Project as I have shown above.
In the affidavit, Aura state that Kagwe has no basic training at an undergraduate or post-graduate level in agriculture, livestock or livestock farming, veterinary, plant and animal health education.
“From my understanding of basic commerce in insurance, apart from availing insurance services to insure agricultural activities (which the nominee has not even stated he specializes in), there is clearly no functional nexus in terms of training in insurance business with Agriculture. Hence, I can only conclude that the nominee is unsuitable to be the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock in Kenya on that score,” state Aura in the affidavit.
The activist says Kagwe knew as much that there was no single death certificate proving an autopsy of a single deceased Kenyan had been carried out and verification of a death caused by the alleged “Covid-19” had been occasioned.
Yet he continued to sell irrational fear to Kenyans while his Ministry engaged in egregious human rights abuses and insisting on injecting Kenyans without their consent.
He adds that whereas in actual reality Hospitals and health facilities across Kenya had lain near- empty during the “Covid-19” 2020-2021 period the subject nominee falsely alleged that these Hospitals were capacity-full, to scaremonger Kenyans further.
“To the said extent the subject nominee was not faithful to the Constitutional values of transparency and good governance. He is thus unsuitable to be confirmed as such CS of Agriculture in Kenya,” state Aura.
As such, he said, venturing to position and impose the subject nominee as CS Agriculture in Kenya will posit the same problems and create negative outcomes in Kenya’s Agriculture as occasioned in the Ministry of Health, as a result of the subject nominee.
