A young man has been charged with stealing over half-a-million from Family Bank.

Collins Korir appeared before Milimani Magistrate Geoffrey Onsarigo and denied the charges.

Prosecution told the court that on 31 of October 2023 at unknown Place within the country, Korir stole Sh. 760,000 the property of Family Bank Kenya Limited.

Court heard that n 31 of October 2023 at unknown Place within the country . otherwise than in the course of stealing, you dishonestly received Sh.760,000 in his Family bank account domiciled at Kisii branch. knowingly or having reasons to believe to be stolen property.

He was released on a cash bail of Sh150 million pending hearing and determination of his criminal case.
