A 75-year-old woman has been charged with conspiracy to defraud Nairobi politician Agnes Kagure of land worth Sh200 million.
Ruth Wambui Kimani appeared before Milimani Magistrate Rose Ndombi and denied the charges.
The prosecution told the court that on unknown dates and place, Wambui jointly with another not before court, conspired to defraud Kagure her land parcel L.R No. 209/4843/10 (IR No.15372) measuring approximately 0.3252.
The land located on Jogoo Road is valued at approximately Sh 200 million.
Wambui was also accused of making a false Identity Card Serial No. 230624436 in the names of Francis Kimani Mungai for identity card no. 0979675.
She purportedly pretended the the identity card was a genuine document from the National Registration Bureau.
She was released on a cash bail of Sh100,000 as the court considered her age.
