Garissa Governor Nathif Jama will know his fate on whether he will face contempt of court or not, for reshuffling the cabinet despite the court  order in place and stopping him.

Nairobi based industrial court judge, Justice Hellen Wasilwa said he will determine the case on February 23 where Jama will either survive or face jail term for unprocedurally withholding the CECs monthly pay and reshuffling the cabinet against court directive.

Justice Hellen also ruled that the trial on the case by CECs reinstatement will be begin after the applications are determined.

Lawyer Abdinasir Ahmed Abdullahi who represented the Governor Nathif left the court in halfway looking dejected while lawyer Charles Kajama for the trio CECs seemed upbeat about the case outcome.

The Judge extended the previous interim orders and for now the three CECs, messes Salah Yakub, Muktar Bulale and Idriss Aden will remain in office until February 23rd will the case will come up for hearing.
