Tokyo International Conference on Africa Development (TICAD) to be launched in Kenya later in the year will deepen the country’s engagement with Japan, explore avenues of doing business and expand trade and investments between the two countries.

Deputy President William Ruto says that holding the summit in Kenya demonstrates the country’s growing influence on the global economy and will provide an opportunity for our entrepreneurs to showcase their products and open new investment possibilities.

Mr Ruto said this as he held talks with Katsuyuki Kawai, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Japan, at the Karen office, Nairobi.
