A alleged gold dealer has been charged before a Nairobi Magistrate with obtaining 25 million.
He appeared before Nairobi Senior Principal Magistrate Martha Mutuku.
Michael Kyalo Kiilu alias Peter Kivai is accused on diverse date between the 19 day of February and 1 March this year at Muthangari along Mzima spring road in Nairobi jointly with others not before court obtained 25 million from Hamad Yacoub Hamad by falsely pretending he was in position to supply him with 14 kg of gold the fact he knew was not true.
He pleaded not guilty to the fraud charge.
He was released on a cash bail of 3 million pending hearing and determination of the criminal case.
The matter to be heard on 30 of August.
