Two Chinese nationals have been charged before a Nairobi court with stealing Sh 70 million from their employer.

Du Fang and Liu Fanvg Ying who appeared before Milimani principal magistrate Peter Ooko denied the charges of stealing by servant.

The court heard that are on diverse dates between July 1 2017 and September 2018 in Nairobi county the accused persons jointly with others not before court, being servants of Hu Shi Wen, with intent to defraud conspired to steal Sh 70 million, property of their employer.

The two face another count of stealing the above money which came to their possession by virtue of their employment.

However Ooko ordered the two to be released on a bail of Sh 1 million and bond of 2 million each.

The magistrate further directed the two to deposit their passport with the court.
