A businesswoman has been charged with obtaining money by false pretences.
She appeared before Milimani Senior Principal Magistrate Martha Mutuku and pleaded not guilty and was released on a cash bail of Sh 50,000 and bond of 100,000 pending hearing and determination of the case.
Jackline Mwikali Munyanzi is accused that on diverse dates between November 21 to 22, 2018 at cooperative Bank around Haile Selassie avenue, with intent to defraud, obtained Sh 200,000 from Patrick Muli Wambua.
She allegedly claimed to be in a position to enjoin him in a business of supplying stationeries to Africa Medical and Research foundation (AMREF), a fact she knew to be false.
