Globus Tours and Travel director has been charged with forgery and stealing 2.4 million.

Thomas Kinyaga Njuguna appeared before Milimani Senior Principal Magistrate Kennedy Cheruiyot and pleaded not guilty to four counts.

Kinyaga is accused that on or about February 4 , at unknown place jointly with others not before court forged document namely resignation letter of Josephine Wanjiku Kuria purporting it to be a genuine resignation letter as director of Globus Tours and Travel limited with intention to commit fraud.

Kinyaga is also accused that between February 1 and June 18 ,2019 in Nairobi being a director of Globus Tours and Travel limited stole Josh. 2,452,652 which came to his possession by virtue of his employment.

Prosecution accused Kinyaga that on April 6,2019 at standard chartered bank Kenyatta avenue branch in Nairobi knowingly and fraudulently uttered resignation letter of Joseph Wanjiku Kuria to Rael Opudo purporting it to be genuine resignation letter by Josephine Kuria.

He released on a cash bail of 200,000 pending hearing and determination of his criminal case.
