The woes facing former national sevens rugby coach Benjamin Ayimba seems not to end any time soon after a woman lodged a case before children’s court seeking child support.
In the case, the woman claims the former national rugby team coach has failed to provide for the two children.
She wants pending hearing and determination of the suit, the court to order Ayimba to pay her shilling 30,000 as rent, Shilling 60,000 as two months deposits respectively starting this month.
The actor who featured on a program aired by a local TV sometime back also wants court to order Ayimba to pay a reasonable upkeep of shillings 50,000 for the minors.
“Pending the inter parties hearing of this application and main suit, Ayimba be ordered to deposit with the her school fees for the minors amounting to shilling 50,000 and shilling 30,000 for the other minor”, the woman urged.
The comedian also wants the alleged father to be ordered to provide the minors with the medical cover with immediate effect and spend 50% of the holidays and weekends with the minors as part of his parental responsibilities.
The woman accused Ayimba of unfairly and unreasonably neglecting and abandoning her and the two minors.
“Ayimba, without reason stopped providing shelter for the minors in October 2018 subjecting them to auctioneers over rent arrears of four years, amounting to Sh120,000 plus auctioneers fees of Sh30,000, rendering them homeless,” the woman said.
The woman has attached photos of them in their happier times. She accused Ayimba of subjecting the minors to poor healthcare by stopping providing their health cover. He had further promised to pay school fees immediately the minors attain school admission, she said.
The documents filed before Milimani children court further indicate that without a reason, he stopped providing upkeep for the minors subjecting them to untold suffering. She said on several occasions they were forced to sleep hungry and that the minors have been subjected to untold psychological torture and an undignified way of life.
“On several occasions Ayimba has mocked me for bringing the matter, pertaining to the minors, to court. If Ayimba’s discriminatory behavior goes unchecked by this court, there is a significant danger to the well-being of the minors,” she said.
She said they cohabited for seven years and blessed with two children.
She said Ayimba is a pathological liar and would go to any extent to subvert justice including hiding his source of wealth and properties to avoid responsibility.
She told the court that Ayimba is currently residing with another woman at South C while abandoning his children leaving them in abject poverty.
She claims that in 2017 their union took a rocky path after she discovered Ayimba was having affairs with two other women.
