Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi has written to blogger Robert Alai demanding him to pull down an article linking him to a concrete company in Kisii County.
Through lawyer Donald Kipkorir the CS demanded the blogger to immediately pull down of the said publications and completely expunge them online.
“Our instructions are to demand , which we hereby do, you immediately pulling down of the said publications and its complete expunging them online, and all links to them , whereupon we can go into quantum payable”, Matiangi demands.
The lawyer said failure by Alai to pull down the articles immediately, he has instructions to file a suit to compel its removal and thereafter pursue damages and costs for libel.
Matiangi says that the articles published by the blogger were circulated to disparage him in his capacity as a public official and personal life.
He further said that the said publications were out of malevolence and spite towards the him and were calculated to increase popularity of his blog .
