HUSBAND TO NYERI POLITICIAN CHARGED WITH SH3.9 MILLION FRAUD.

A man who is alleged to be husband to a top Nyeri politician has been charged with Sh. 3.9 million fraud.

James Maingi Kimani and Dodi Autotech (K) limited appeared before Milimani Chief Magistrate Martha Mutuku and denied fraud charge.

Dodi Autotech limited and company director Maingi are accused that on September 2017 and October 27, 2018 at Dodi Autotech limited in industrial area within Nairobi County with intent to defraud jointly with another not before court obtained Sh. 3.950, 000 from Revered John Peter Gitonga.

This is by falsely pretending they were in a position to sell him and fabricate an ISUZU NQR 33 bus seater which Revered Gitonga was purchasing on behalf of the catholic diocese of Meru-St Johns Boarding Primary school Maua a fact he knew was false.

He was released on a bond of Sh. 1 million or cash bail of SH400, 000 pending hearing and determination of the fraud case.

Mwangi and the politician were directors of Dodi Autotech limited when the offence was committed.
