A Nairobi contractor has been charged with giving false information to a officer commanding (OCS) capital Hill claiming he was the owner of parcel of land.
Hezron Omondi appeared before Milimani Senior Resident Magistrate Bernard Ochoi and denied the charge.
Omondi is accused of giving false information to the OCS capital Hill police station that he was the rightful owner of the land LR. NO. 2093850 and LR. NO. 216132.
He is said to have given the said false information so that the said officer Evelyne Kipruto could not arrest him for trespassing in the private property.
Omondi is also accused that on April 9, this year at around 1630hours in the land of green view lodge along processional way within Nairobi County trespassed in the land without authority.
He was released on a cash bail of Sh50, 000 pending hearing and determination of the criminal case.
