A man has been charged with conspiracy to commit a felony by making a court document and giving a false testimony.

George Thiongo Mathu was charged with several counts including perjury and making a document without authority.

The charge sheet stated that he conspired to commit a felony by forging and signing a court case- notice of Motion in CMCC NSo.6364 of 2014, purporting it to have been drawn and signed by NGUJI B.G & COMPANY ADVOCATE.

The court heard that he committed the offence, jointly with others who have already been charged, on October 22, 2014.

The court further heard that on October 23, 2014 he testified before a Milimani commercial court Nairobi in a judicial proceedings in which Ernest S.Kamau Nduati had sued the Henkam Company Ltd.

The court heard that he knowingly gave false testimony touching a matter which was in question. The proceedings were for demand of payment of Sh 6,000,000 as commission for the sale of Princess Hotel and the court heard that he purporting to be authorized, permitted and contracted agencies to secure a buyer.

The accused denied all charges when he appeared before Milimani law court senior principal magistrate Bernard Ochoi, who ordered him released on a bond of Sh 500,000.
