MAN DENIES FAKE GOLD CHARGES.

A Nairobi businessman has been charged before Makandara Court with obtaining Sh6 million claiming he was in position to sell gold.

Ayub Sharif Mohamed appeared before Makadara Chief Magistrate Francis Kyambia and denied the fraud charges.

Sharif is accused of obtaining Sh6 million from Zainabesh Dedede on diverse dates in July last year.

The charges stated that the money was intended to buy gold.

The accused person was released on a cash bail of Sh500,000 pending hearing and determination of his fraud case.

Several people among them a police sergeant have been listed as prosecution witnesses.
