A middle-aged-woman has been charged before a Nairobi with obtaining money claiming she was in a position to secure a job seeker work in Saudi Arabia.
Catherine Wawira Ndwiga appeared before Milimani Chief Magistrate Wendy Kagendo and denied the charges of obtaining money by false pretences.
The charges stated that Wawira obtained Sh50,000 from Musyimi Maundu by pretending she was in position to secure him an employment in Saudi Arabia.
The court heard that he obtained the money on May 5, this year at Bazaar on Moi Avenue in Nairobi.
The court released Wawira on a cash bail of Sh50,000.
The crime was reported at Central Police station and prosecution has listed two witnesses to nail the accused.
