A ca dealer has been charged with obtaining Sh 2.9million from NCBA bank

Clement Victor Kinuthia Kimani appeared before Milimani Senior Principal Magistrate Bernard Ochoi and denied the charges. 

Kimani is accused that on diverse dates between 31st May and 19th June this year at NCBA Bank Nairobi, with intent to defraud  obtained Sh 2,940,000 from Sharon Chepkorir Koskei by falsely pretending that he was in a position to import a vehicle for her.

According to court documents,  Kimani was arraigned to court by warrant of arrest after he failed to appear in court prior to take plea.

The accused however through his lawyer told the court that he had been sick and was willing to provide medical documents in court.

The court detained the accused for 5 days pending medical documentation presentation.
