Harrison chege kariuki before Nairobi Court where he pleaded not guilty for stealing thousands of shillings from AIG insurance.

An insurance broker has been charged with stealing nearly a million shillings from Kirinyaga Governor’s wife Eunice Wamuyu Ndathi.
Harrison Chege Kariuki was charged for stealing almost a million shillings from Ms Wamuyu, money entrusted to him as payment of insurance premiums.
This happened between December 2014 and July 2016 at AIG Insurance Company.
Chege was also charged with stealing Sh40 thousand from a Mr John Githuka entrusted to him for payment of premiums of his insurance policy at the same insurance company.
He denied the charges before Principal Magistrate Joyce Gandani and was released on a cash bail of two hundred thousand.
The case will be heard on December 7th.
