A Nairobi businessman has today been arraigned in court and charged with obtaining millions.
Abdisamed Mohamed Musa is accused on or before April 16th 2015 at Total petrol station along Lusaka Road in Nairobi County with intent to defraud obtained Sh 9, 000, 000 from a fellow businessman Abdulle Sadiq Ibrahim.
The accused is alleged to have obtained the money by falsely pretending that he was in a position to sell to him a lease for five star limited total petrol station at Lusaka Road knowing it to be false.
The accused is alleged to have committed the offence with another before court. The two matters have been consolidated.
The accused pleaded not guilty before chief magistrate Francis Andayi. He was release on a bond of Sh3,000,000 and one surety of the same amount or a cash bail of Sh 500,000.
Hearing to resumeon May 8th and 10th 2017.
