Three women who allegedly tricked another woman that they will pray for her money for miraculous healing have been charged in Nairobi.

Teresiah Nyagaki Gitonga, Florah Muthoni Nyaga and Rosemary Waithira Kariuki denied the charges before Nairobi Magistrate Francis Andayi and denied the charges.

On September 27, 2017, at Family Bank Gikomba branch, the court was told, by means of fraudulent trick, obtained Sh2 million from Virginia Wanjiru by tricking her that the said money could be prayed for to heal her sickness and remove any calamity that could befall her children in the United State of America.

They were released on Ksh 800,000 bond or a cash bail of Ksh 300,000.
