Businessman Steve Mbogo has commenced the process of removing sitting MP Charles Kanyi alias Jaguar.

A petition he filed kicked off hearing today before High Court Judge Fred Ochieng.

The first witness Dr. Nyangwasi Oduwo took to the witness stand.

He told the court that the election at Starehe constituency experienced a lot of electoral malpractices.

He claimed that he scrutinized various forms 35As received from various agents across the polling stations and 181 out of 253 forms had anomalies.

He claimed that the forms were not signed by the Presiding Officer and Deputy Presiding Officers.

“Some forms lacked official commission stamp and duplicated Forms 35As,” said Dr. Oduwo.

Dr. Oduwo a researcher has told a Nairobi court that he discovered anomalies in 181 form34As after scrutinizing 160form 35As in Starehe Constituency where businessman Steve Mbogo has challenged the Election win of musician Charles Njagua.

Dr nyanduso Oduo told Justice Fred Ochieng that the forms did not bear IEBC official stamp. He claimed that they were not signed by the presiding officer and his deputy.

Oduo said there was stuffing of ballot boxes. He cited st. Peter’s clever in starehe where16 form 35As lacked the official stamps.

He told justice ochieng that there was varaiance between the declared results of parliamentary and the actual results as tallied by the iebc in the entire elections.

He added that forms 34Bs indicates that Nairobi central ward had a total of 34,585 of voters cast yet in 35B the total casts votes in the constituency 38,036 which indicates a variance over 2451 votes.

He is set to appear in court tomorrow for cross examination.
