Former Nairobi chief finance officer Jimmy Kiamba, County Secretary Lilian Ndegwa and senior accountant have been acquitted of corruption charges.
Kiamba, county secretary Lilian Wanjiru Ndegwa, Regina Chepkemoi and Stephen Ogaga were facing seven counts of abuse of office, making and uttering false documents.
Milimani Anti-Corruption Court chief magistrate Kennedy Bidali, ruled the prosecution failed to prove its case beyond reasonable doubt.
Magistrate Kennedy Bidali said on Thursday that the prosecution failed to prove the case against Jimmy Kiamba and the other suspects.
He said they failed to charge the people who gave instructions for transactions to the accused persons.
The ex-chief finance officer Jimmy Kiamba and others had been charged with defrauding City Hall of millions of shillings in shady procurement deals.
