Angry businessmen want a directive by the education ministry to paint all school buses yellow overturned.

The businessmen who are contracted by schools to ferry their pupils say they should not be compelled to paint their private cars yellow.

The directive was given by former Education CS Dr Fred Matiangi as a response to several school bus accidents in order to stem the cause of accidents.

They want the regulation overturned saying that they angered by the move because other than ferrying students they also carry other clients.

They say that if they comply with the requirement “it would mean loss of business from other clientele who contribute to their livelihood.”

They want the court to also stop police from arresting their vehicles and employees for not complying with the painting school vans directive.
