Two directors of Ishaka Limited have been charged before a Nairobi court with obtaining Sh 3 million by false pretences.
Peter Sagwa Chabeda and Cassim Sherali Kassam Jivraj appeared before Milimani Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi and pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Sagwa is accused that on diverse dates between June 30, and November 15, 2016 in Nairobi Central Business District with intent to defraud obtained from Sammy Thou Juma Sh.3 million by falsely pretending that he was able to produce commercial computer game entitled Ishaka son of God that could be used in multiple digital platforms a fact he knew was false.
Sagwa and Kassam together are also accused that on diverse dates between July 18,2017 and October 31 ,2018 in Nairobi CBD within Nairobi county being directors of Ishaka LTD stole Sh. 1,500,000 the property of the said Ishaka Ltd which came onto their possession by virtue of employment.
They were released on a cash bail of Sh 100,000 and bond of Sh 200,000.
The case will be heard on December 2.
