A woman has been charged with conspiracy to defraud a Nairobi businessman of Sh20 million.
Margaret Ngima Munene appeared before Milimani Senior Principal Magistrate Bernard Ochoi and pleaded not guilty.
Ngima is accused that on the diverse dates between May 21, 2018 and September 1, 2019 in Nairobi County, with another not before court, she obtained Sh20 million Naftary Mwaniki Munene. She is also accused of conspiracy to defraud.
Ochoi ordered her to deposit a bond of Sh5 million or alternative cash bail of Sh3 million, to secure her release.
