An American missionary has been charged with possession of child pornography materials.
Joseph William Black Junior was allegedly arrested with videos and images of the minor in his HP laptop.
The prosecution told the court that the missionary intentionally had in possession pornographic images and videos of unknown Caucasian minor of unknown age.
He allegedly committed the offence on diverse dates between October 20, 2020 and August 20 last year at Bishop Makarios Seminary in Riruta Satellite Nairobi County,
He denied the charge when he appeared before Milimani Chief Magistrate Susan Shitubi.
The court directed that he remain in custody pending a ruling on his bail application. The missionary was arrested as he attempted to leave the country.
