A top official of Nairobi Metropolitan Services(NMS) has been charged.
Brown Olaly Ashira appeared before Milimani Magistrate Zainab Abdul and denied the charges.
Prosecution told the court that on the diverse dates between June 8 and 10 at unknown place Olaly posted on WhatsApp group KHPS Nairobi charter ‘let’s make this trend guys… let’s follow Nyakundi on Twitter’.
He is accused of knowing what he posted to be false and malicious.
According to the charge sheet, the said post by Olaly was to injure Director Of Health Services Nairobi Metropolitan Services Ouma Oluga reputation.
Olaly was released on a cash bill of Sh20,000.
Prosecution has listed Oluga and two others as witnesses.
