Supreme Court Judge Isaac Lenaola and Court of Appeal President Daniel Musinga are among judicial officers who have been honoured by President Uhuru Kenyatta for their services to the nation.
The officers were among hundreds of Kenyans who received presidential awards and honours published in a gazette notice.
Both Justices Lenaola and Musinga received First Class Chief of the Order of the Burning Spear (CBS), while Court of Appeal Judges Dr Laibuta Kibaya Imaana and Hellen Omondi were awarded second class Elder of the Order of the Burning Spare (EBS).
Other Judges honoured include Employment and labour Relations court judges Nduma Ndeli, Radido Stephen, Mutungi Muriungi, Ang’awa Atieno and Linet Ndolo and High Court judge George Dulu who were honoured with Third class Moran of the Burning Spare (MBS).
Registrars Kennedy Bidali, Caroline Kendagor and Temba Sitati received Order of the Grand warrior (OGW) of Kenya.
Judiciary veteran photographer who has served former Chief Justices Dr Willy Mutunga and David Maraga as well the current CJ Martha Koome, Rajan Zakheem received Head of State’s Commendation (HSC) civilian division alongside Mkala Grace Wali.
