The son of former powerful minister in the Moi era has been charged with forging a medical report with plans to disinherit his siblings

Charles Githii Kamotho, so to the late cabinet minister Joseph Kamotho appeared before Milimani Chief Magistrate Wendy Kagendo and denied several charges.

The family has been battling over Kamotho’s multimillion estate.

The charges stated that Githii forger a medical report in 12 October 2015 at unknown place with intent to defraud.

The court heard that he allegedly forged the medical report for Marianne Nyokabi Kamotho purporting it to be a genuine and signed by Dr. Mucheru Wangombe

Githii is also accused that on 6th of November in the year 2020 at Milimani law Court in Nairobi with intent to defraud, he knowingly uttered the forged report.

He allegedly presented the report to the deputy Registrar Milimani High court in a succession cause 1096/2017 purporting it to be genuine medical report made and signed by Dr Wangombe.

His attempt to defer the plea was rejected by the court.

Githii was released on a bond of Sh300,000 or alternative cash bail of Sh 150,000.
