A Nairobi court has issued warrant of arrest against Sustainable Development Solution site manager.
Kibera Senior Principal Magistrate Phillip Mutua issued the warrant of arrest against Hussein Mohamud Abdi for failing to appear in court to plead to the charges.
Mohamud is accused that on the 21st day of October,2022 at around 1830hrs Westlands sub county within Nairobi jointly with others not before court being the site manager Sustainable Development Solution ltd of eleven storey building on plot number 209/7549 in parklands area while undertaking his project breached license conditions 2:16 of Environmental impact assessment license NO.NEMA/EIA/PSL/9860 issued on December 2020 thus contravening the said regulation.
According to charge sheet produced in court, Mohamud is accused on the 21st day of October this year at the same time jointly with others not before court being site supervisor and site engineer respectively of commercial development of 18 level building on plot Number 209/3408 in 6th Avenue Parklands area of Limuru road, failed to comply with an improvement notice dated 26th July this year prepared by Environmental Inspector Jimmy Owiti thus contravening the said Act.
