A Nairobi court will tomorrow decide on whether to release on bail a farmer who made Sh30 million by selling subsidized fertilizer.

Milimani Chief Magistrate Lukas Onyina will tomorrow decide on whether to release Benjamin Moses Kuto on bail after the prosecution opposed his release.

Kuto is accused that between 31st July and 6th October this year at various national cereals and Produce Board depots by means of fraudulent tricks had have a land measuring 1050 acres on which he was carrying out crop farming.

According to the chargesheet, Kuto had obtained 4304 bags of fertilizers worth Sh 21,520,000, which was subsidized by the government to Sh 10,760,000, which he would’ve not obtained were it not for the fraudulent tricks.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges against him .
