It’s funny how most Nairobians hate mud yet they want the rain. However, things are very different in Cangyuan County, southwest China’s Yunnan Province as we see these Chinese fellows getting extremely dirty or should I say muddier during their “Monihei” Carnival. Monihei Carnival is the most amazing festival which is usually celebrated annually by the ethnic Wa people, one of the 56 Chinese minorities. The belief is the more covered in mud you get, the more blessings you’ll receive in life. (Xinhua)
