An outdoor advertising firm owner has been charged with obtaining over Sh 1Million from a client.
Frederick Mbua Machungu alias Freddy allegedly got the money from Denis Wanyoike by claiming he would sell him two billboard structures mounted on a building.
He denied the charge when he appeared before Milimani senior principal magistrate Zainab Abdul.
The court heard that Fredy obtained the Sh1.1 million on 14th October 2022 at Look Media limited offices, located at house 52 building in Westlands, Nairobi county.
The charge stated that Fredy promised to facilitate Wanyoike to possess the billboards.
He was ordered to post a bond of Sh 500,000 to secure his release.
The matter will be mentioned on 13th April.
