A woman claiming to be the youngest wife of former presidential candidate Simon Nyachae has denied allegations that she was married four as claimed by stepson.

Margaret Chweya Nyachae who is based in Los Angeles California in the USA has rubbished a report by a private investigator hired by her stepson Leon Nyachae saying it’s full of fabrications whose singular objective is to disinherit her and her children.

In documents filed in court, Margaret has dismissed claims by the private investigator that she was previously married to four other men.

Through lawyer Danstan Omari, Chweya says George Gordon Odero has never been her boyfriend or husband.

The 66-year old woman says in 1987 she was a student and University of Southern California.

“After classes I noticed a black man stalking me. At one time he followed me up to the Consulate I told my husband Simeon Nyachae who told me what to do. The end result was that this man came to Kenya where he was given an official letter that told him to stay away from me from then I have never seen him nor talked to him. It has been over 36 years and I have no idea where he is or lives.” says the American woman.

She further opposed the use of the report saying it is based on falsehoods and fabrications whose singular objective is to disinherit her and her children from Nyachae’s estate estimated to be worth Sh2 billion.

She added that the private Investigator Report which Leon Nyachae has presented in court is in violation of her privacy and misleading, incomplete and falsely altered to intentionally push their agenda.

She adds that her going to the USA was done by his then influential husband Simeon Nyachae and she took advantage of being in America to go to school.

“My husband supported me and our children. Even though my husband sent money to meet our expenses sometimes money arrived late when classes had already started and I sometimes would get late in buying my text books,” she said.

She recalls photocopying text books of other students to try and catch up with her homework as her husband was sometimes late in sending money for the textbooks.
