Athletics agent Federico Rosa has denied charges linking him to doping and ruining the reputations of two Kenyan athletes.
The Italian coach was slapped with six counts.
He is accused of conspiring with others to injure the reputations of Elijah Kiprono and Ritah Jeptoo by administering prohibited substances.
Rosa also requested the court to release his passport for him to travel to Monaco to join his team for the Diamond League.
Prosecutors opposed the prayer saying it was likely he would interfere with investigations and jump bail.
Rosa was released on a Sh300,000 cash bail; the court also ordered that a Kenyan contact person be produced.
