A data entry clerk at a Nairobi firm has been charged with stealing from his employer.
Bethwel Kipkorir Chebet, who works for Abyssinia Iron and Steel Limited was charged stealing the money on diverse dates between last year and 2023.
He appeared before Milimani Chief Magistrate Lukas Onyina where he denied the charges.
Kipkorir was charged with conspiracy to steal the money on diverse dates between 1st May 2022 and 2nd September 2023 at Athi River within Machakos county.
It is alleged that he committed the offence jointly with others not before court.
Kipkorir will be presented before a different magistrate for the hearing of his bail application.
